Shopping & Eating

There are several farmers’ markets in downtown Zhangjiajie and Wulingyuan District where you can buy local specialties. Zhangjiajie’s cuisine is also unique. Sanxia pot is Zhangjiajie’s signature dish, stewing bacon, tofu and radish in one pot. Dagupi is a traditional dish of Zhangjiajie, referring to the meat on the backbone of a beef. You can explore the diverse Zhangjiajie cuisine at the local food streets, like Hourong Street and Nanmen Gate.
