As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Webflow didn’t have a built-in feature for duplicating an entire page within the same project. However, you can achieve this by manually recreating a page based on an existing one. Here’s how you can duplicate a page in Webflow:
- Login to Your Webflow Account:
- Open your web browser, go to the Webflow website, and log in to your Webflow account.
- Access the Project:
- Once you’re logged in, select the project that contains the page you want to duplicate from your dashboard.
- Navigate to the Page:
- In the Webflow Designer, navigate to the page you want to duplicate. You can do this by clicking on the “Pages” tab on the left side of the Designer and then selecting the specific page from the list.
- Duplicate Content Manually:
- To duplicate the content of the page, you’ll need to manually recreate it. This involves copying and pasting elements, such as text, images, and other assets, from the existing page to a new page. Here are some steps:
- Click on the element you want to duplicate (e.g., a section or a div block).
- Use keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+C for Windows or Command+C for Mac) to copy the element.
- Create a new page by clicking the “+” icon next to the “Pages” tab in the left sidebar.
- Give the new page a name and select a template if necessary.
- Open the new page in the Designer.
- Use keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+V for Windows or Command+V for Mac) to paste the copied element onto the new page.
- Repeat this process for all the elements on the page you want to duplicate.
- To duplicate the content of the page, you’ll need to manually recreate it. This involves copying and pasting elements, such as text, images, and other assets, from the existing page to a new page. Here are some steps:
- Adjust Interactions and Links:
- Keep in mind that interactions, links, and other dynamic features may need to be adjusted to work correctly on the new page. Review and test these elements to ensure they function as intended.
- Publish Your Changes:
- After you’ve duplicated and adjusted the page as needed, remember to publish your changes to make the new page live on your website.
Please note that the process described here involves manual duplication of content and may not capture all the exact settings or interactions from the original page. Additionally, Webflow features and capabilities may have evolved since my last update, so I recommend checking Webflow’s official documentation or community forums for any new features or techniques related to duplicating pages.
